Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during special radiologic procedures, preparing and positioning patients for procedures, and performing hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prepare patients for procedures
  • Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary
  • Prepare and implement plans of care
  • Communicate patient conditions to physicians
  • Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures

Requirements:

  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Minimum of two years of current Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program
  • Active unencumbered Iowa Cardiac Cath Lab Tech state license
  • One year of Cerner experience

  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and service excellence
