About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team at Apex Tool Group. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse personnel, ensuring the efficient processing of customer orders, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Coordinate the daily activities of warehouse personnel to ensure the efficient processing of customer orders, including receiving, inventory control, and shipping.
  • Supervision and Direction: Provide supervision and direction to warehouse personnel, ensuring productivity and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Employee Development: Ensure a positive work environment through effective communication with associates, provide training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customer orders are processed and fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure that stock is accurately counted and recorded.
  • Safety and Security: Enforce and maintain safety standards, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Basic PC skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and knowledge of lean principles and processes.
