About the Job

We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team at First Student. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a critical role in safely transporting students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and parents
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience

Requirements

  • Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
  • At least 21 years old
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer

  • A competitive starting wage of $26/hour
  • A $5,000 sign-on bonus for fully licensed drivers
  • A $3,000 sign-on bonus for new drivers who obtain their CDL
  • Paid CDL training at $15/hour
  • A 5-hour guarantee per day
