Job Summary

Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT exams for interpretation by the radiologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm the appropriateness of ordered exams with 100% accuracy and communicate with medical staff as needed.
  • Select and operate CT scanner equipment to acquire optimal diagnostic images while ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Administer contrast agents, review medications and allergies, and start IVs as required.
  • Perform quality control checks and ensure all images are uploaded to the Radiant Epic/PACS system.
  • Relay equipment malfunctions to the Engineering team and assist the radiologist with procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • Three years of relevant experience.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry eligible and Licensure by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
