We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at LUKE. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to our patients.
Job SummaryThe Clinical Psychologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing psychological evaluations, establishing psychiatric diagnoses, and providing psychological treatment for individuals and groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychological evaluations and establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
- Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based interventions.
- Assist in rehabilitation of patients and provide support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
- Minimum of one year experience as a licensed clinical psychologist.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
- Physical capability to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time and perform all services required per job description.
- U.S. citizenship.
The Clinical Psychologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks on short notice.
