Job DescriptionAs a Senior Fleet Mechanic on the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel equipment while performing preventative maintenance. Your role requires a valid Class-A CDL license, extensive hands-on experience in heavy-duty mechanical work, and adherence to safety regulations.
Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations.
- Document repairs and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure fleet reliability.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid Class-A CDL license.
- (7) years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic.
- Demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in administering appropriate PM program.
- Familiarity with technical and service manuals.
