Job Title: Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our team at Skyworks Solutions. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing high-performance analog and mixed-signal ICs for various applications, including EVs, Industrial Control, Industrial Power, and Green Power.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and verify analog and mixed-signal circuits, systems, and algorithms to meet product requirements
  • Deliver high-quality work products in a timely manner to ensure business success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust and high-quality design product
  • Present design reviews to demonstrate results and obtain feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in analog and mixed-signal IC design
Requirements:
  • Current student pursuing an MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering
  • Familiarity with Cadence design tools
  • Familiarity with CMOS transistor behavior and device physics
  • Understanding of AC/DC analysis, loop dynamics, and feedback systems
  • Design experience with references, bandgaps, oscillators, regulators, and high-speed comparators
  • Comfortable with frequency and time domain analysis of complex mathematical systems
  • Familiarity with CMOS layout and layout best practices
  • Experience with standard electrical engineering lab equipment
  • Good written and verbal presentation skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with CMOS design at supplies above 5V
  • Experience with system analysis, power supply rejection, error budgeting, and signal chain optimization of SNR
  • Experience with complex analog design tasks, including ADC, DAC, signal chains, and high-voltage designs
  • Experience with HV processes and devices, including EDMOS, LDMOS, and Zeners
