About the Role

This Operations Analyst position is focused on initiatives to increase operational efficiency, material movement execution, and operations analytics while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.

To be successful in this role, you will need to utilize statistical analyses, industry knowledge, and data to devise workable solutions to operational challenges.

You will work closely with Operations Management, Shipping, and Procurement to optimize efficiency, productivity, and workflow processes associated with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  1. Utilize statistical analyses, industry knowledge, and data to devise workable solutions to operational challenges.
  2. Work closely with Operations Management, Shipping, and Procurement to optimize efficiency, productivity, and workflow processes associated with day-to-day operations.
  3. Conduct extensive MS Excel-based analyses.
  4. Develop and maintain management's reporting requirements, including automation and ad-hoc requests.
  5. Track facility-wide supplies consumption and reorder based on need.
  6. Point out significant anomalies in reporting to Operations Management Team.
  7. Review accuracy of all reporting.
  8. Report systemic problems to appropriate parties for timely resolution.
  9. Maintain a professional, helpful attitude in dealings with co-workers, supervisors, and their departmental personnel at all times.
  10. Uphold the values of KGPCo through setting example and holding the team accountable.
  11. Demonstrate practical application of quality concepts such as 5S and Kaizen to improve quality performance of assigned area of responsibility.
  12. Work within and promote established safety and quality standards.
  13. The ability to manipulate large data sets to determine specific actions.
  14. Knowledge of data mining, business intelligence tools, and analysis.
  15. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
  16. Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities within time constraints.
  17. Ability to solve problems and analyze data.
  18. Ability to think and work independently but also work well in teams.
  19. Eagerness to learn and accept challenges.
  20. MS SQL (or equivalent) and MS Access-based data mining experience to extract data from multiple sources.
  21. Experience in warehousing and distribution is preferred.
  22. Ability to prepare written materials and deliver training presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  23. Have a basic knowledge and understanding of quality concepts such as kaizen/lean six sigma/5S principals.
  24. Strong organizational, analytical, and motivational skills along with a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a metrics-driven, results-based environment.
  25. Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  26. Other duties as assigned.

Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $85,000 per year.
