IEA Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives is seeking a skilled Shop Mechanic to join our team. As a Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining the operations and appearance of our equipment, including assessment, diagnosis, replacement, and repair.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on all equipment
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
- Update tool inventory and maintain proper record keeping
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with operators and superintendents to ensure crews are self-sufficient and responsible for their own maintenance
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Certificate from college or technical school in Diesel or Automotive Technology preferred
- One to two years related experience preferred
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred
