Environmental Services Worker

The EVS Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, clients, and staff at the SE AK Reg Health Consortium (SEARHC) in Haines, Alaska.
This role involves cleaning and sanitizing patient/resident rooms, restrooms, and other assigned areas to meet Aramark and client standards. The EVS Worker must adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, including vacuuming, high and low dusting, bed making, and stripping, and removal of general and hazardous waste.
- Clean restrooms following proper infection control procedures.
- Maintain and clean housekeeping equipment.
- Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
- Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
- Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and positive customer service to customers, clients, patients, and co-workers.
- Secure the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
- Ensure security of company assets.
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
