Job Summary

The EVS Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, clients, and staff at the SE AK Reg Health Consortium (SEARHC) in Haines, Alaska.

This role involves cleaning and sanitizing patient/resident rooms, restrooms, and other assigned areas to meet Aramark and client standards. The EVS Worker must adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, including vacuuming, high and low dusting, bed making, and stripping, and removal of general and hazardous waste.
  • Clean restrooms following proper infection control procedures.
  • Maintain and clean housekeeping equipment.
  • Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
  • Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
  • Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
  • Provide friendly, efficient, and positive customer service to customers, clients, patients, and co-workers.
  • Secure the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
  • Ensure security of company assets.
Requirements
  • Previous custodial experience preferred.
  • Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
