Job Summary

We seek an experienced Early Childhood Education Support Specialist to join our team as a Temporary PreK and Infant/Toddler Educator. This position will provide support to our program in the event of staff absence or additional program needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children aged 0-5 and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary for this role is estimated at $40,000-$50,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide educational support to children aged 0-5 in our program settings
  2. Assist teachers in lesson planning, classroom preparation, and meal supervision
  3. Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to CYFD regulations
  4. Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and supervisors
  5. Participate in mandatory training sessions and adhere to confidentiality policies

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and one year of experience working with children aged 0-5
  • Prior experience in early childhood education, lesson planning, and enrichment activities preferred
  • CPR certification required; ability to work well in diverse settings and communicate clearly
