Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide leadership in clinical and diagnostic areas, including employee evaluations, scheduling, and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and implement improved methods for task performance, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Adhere to and monitor site-level compliance of OSHA and other federal and state requirements, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Order medical and drug supplies, utilizing effective buying skills to optimize resources.
  • Assure clinical assistant coverage, effectively planning for varying needs and ensuring adequate staffing.
  • Perform skilled clinical assistance when needed, preparing patients and assisting physicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Support the Site Manager with proactive and meaningful information and assistance, particularly in clinical functions.
  • Respond effectively to patient requests, including returning patient phone calls and providing excellent customer service.
  • Provide meaningful training to staff, monitoring their understanding and implementation of training.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, adhering to high standards of professionalism.
  • Attend meetings as required, staying informed and engaged with the team.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, both internally and externally, adhering to all aspects of the corporate compliance plan.
  • Actively participate in site-level Quality Improvement Activities, contributing to the continual evaluation of site performance and the implementation and measurement of improvement activities.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Certification/License: Current CPR certification required. Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Certified Medical Assistant based on managerial experience.
  • Experience: Prefer three years experience in a supervisory position in a medical office setting.
