We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at VCU Health. As a critical care physician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our operating rooms and intensive care units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide preanesthetic evaluation, intraoperative anesthetic care, and postoperative rounds to patients
- Direct the activities of nurse anesthetists and supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) as needed
- Participate in teaching and research activities, including clinical trials and scholarly pursuits
- Contribute to departmental and institutional committees, fostering a culture of community service and diversity
- MD or DO degree
- ABA Board eligible/certified in Anesthesiology and/or certified/eligible for Critical Care Certification
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia
- Excellent communication, clinical, and teaching skills
- Demonstrated experience working in a diverse environment
