About the Position
We are seeking a qualified Pediatric Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage at an outpatient pediatric clinic in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. As a locum tenens provider, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and make a positive impact on the lives of patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care as a Pediatric Physician Assistant in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with supervising physicians
- Conduct thorough physical exams and take medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed
Requirements
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics
- Arkansas license (obtainable during credentialing process)
- PALS certification
- EPIC EMR system experience
