Work Schedule: PRN with the possibility of additional hours when covering for other staff members.

Compensation: $25 per hour

Select Physical Therapy is a proud member of Select Medical Corporation's Outpatient Division, a leading provider of outpatient physical rehabilitation services with numerous locations across the country. Our esteemed clinical team is dedicated to delivering preventative and rehabilitative services that enhance functionality and promote overall well-being. We create tailored treatment plans to help each patient achieve their specific objectives. Our integrated local market network enables us to effectively collaborate with healthcare providers, employers, payors, and case managers to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a cost-efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and comply with relevant state practice regulations governing physical therapy practices and supervision.
  • Complete all required training and maintain compliance with corporate and clinical service standards.
  • Assess, treat, and manage treatment plans for patients requiring physical therapy, ensuring clear documentation of medical necessity.
  • Maintain respectful and open communication with colleagues, healthcare providers, patients, and their families.
  • Participate in facility meetings as directed by management.
Qualifications
    • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
    • Possession of a valid State Physical Therapy License/Registration is required to begin
    • Availability to work 32 or more hours per week, including occasional early or late shifts
    • Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is mandatory
    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift patients using appropriate techniques frequently throughout the workday, with the capacity to lift up to fifty (50) pounds independently.
    • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach consistently during the workday.
    • Visual acuity sufficient for evaluating, diagnosing, and monitoring patient needs, as well as maintaining accurate records.
    • Ability to communicate effectively to understand and provide directions.
    • Capability to maneuver wheeled equipment within the facility and community.
    • Proficient fine motor skills for accurate reporting, charting, scheduling, and correspondence, whether manually or electronically.
    • Skilled fine motor abilities for the effective handling of diagnostic or therapeutic equipment.
