Job Title: Brick Mason

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our team at Aerotek. As a Brick Mason, you will be responsible for installing CMU units, block units, and laying out work as required by construction drawings. You will establish a layout to maintain uniform mortar bed joints and spread soft bed mortar to serve as a base for the masonry units. You will also use the appropriate jointing tool to finish the exposed bed and cross joints.

Responsibilities:
Install CMU units and block units to the required specifications.
Measure distances from reference points and mark guidelines on working surfaces to lay out work as required by construction drawings.
Establish a layout to maintain uniform mortar bed joints and spread soft bed mortar to serve as a base for the masonry units.
Use the appropriate jointing tool to finish the exposed bed and cross joints.
Maintain a clean face on the inside or outside of the wall that will remain exposed.
Use both mechanical and adhesive methods to attach masonry units for the veneer of wall surfaces.
