Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Trial Attorney to become an integral part of our dynamic legal team. This full-time role involves managing intricate and high-stakes cases, focusing on criminal defense, including trafficking, abuse, and kidnapping. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of challenging cases and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients throughout all phases of criminal proceedings, emphasizing complex cases related to trafficking, abuse, and kidnapping.
  • Draft and prepare essential legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and appeals.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and factual investigations to formulate effective case strategies.
  • Negotiate plea deals and settlements to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and responsibilities.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.
  • Active state bar admission and good standing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of trial experience, particularly in criminal defense.
  • Demonstrated success in litigation with strong negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in high-pressure environments while managing a substantial caseload.
