Job Overview

SmithBuilt WNY LLC is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, levels, squares, wrenches, skill saws, and hammers.
  • Work independently or as part of a team, instructing and directing laborers and other construction helpers.
  • Construct and install frameworks, walls, floors, and doorframes.
  • Install windows, doors, trim, molding, and hardware.
  • Repair and renovate wooden structures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, specifications, and diagrams.
