Job Overview

At Agcor Steel, we are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling wooden trusses according to customer specifications while ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities
  • To operate assembly equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner to assemble wooden trusses as per customer orders, while adhering to quality specifications.
  • To routinely perform quality checks and make adjustments as needed to provide customers with accurate and damage-free products.
  • To complete all daily orders and maintain clean work areas and workstation preps throughout shifts.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; previous experience in field-related, forklift, and/or manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • The ability to properly utilize and maintain all personal protective equipment (PPE), read and write, effectively communicate with others, and work safely, remain calm, and make decisions in fast-paced environments.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development.
