- A hospital in California is seeking an experienced Tele RN for a travel assignment.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Tele RN.
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Tele RN.
- Hold an active BLS, ACLS, and CA license.
Schedule Information
- Shifts are 12 hours, from 6:45 to 7:15.
- Schedules are typically made 2-3 weeks in advance, with some flexibility to schedule up to 9 weeks in advance.
- Self-scheduling is available for most shifts.
- Four weekend shifts are included in a standard 4-week schedule.
- Opportunities to work with permanent staff are available.
Unit Specific Information
- Unit: IMCU (2 West)
- Number of beds in the unit: 30.
- Patient-to-nurse ratios: 1 to 3-4 patients per nurse.
- Floating: float to Tele - 2Central or Tele - 4West.
- Floor-specific orientation: 1 shift on the unit.
- Common diagnoses/types of patients: CHF, COPD, Renal failure, pneumonia, and drips (but no titration required).
Additional Details
- COVID Vaccine is required.
- NIHSS certification is necessary.
- Telemetry, L/D, Emergency, and Critical Care RNs will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one. This is a PASS/FAIL test.
