Genesis Rehab Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional care to our geriatric clients.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for frail elderly individuals within their homes. Our focus is on preventative care, empowering patients to maintain their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with patients to understand their unique physical needs and goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Develop personalized exercise programs tailored to each patient's abilities and limitations.
  • Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and promote functional independence.
  • Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home-based exercises to support their ongoing recovery.
  • Work collaboratively with registered nurses and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Proven experience in geriatric physical therapy preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
