We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical-Surgical Unit at Sierra Medical Center. As an LPN, you will provide direct and indirect patient care, communicate effectively with the healthcare team, and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities- Assess and reassess patient pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques and educating patients and families on pain management.
- Administer medications, including psychotropic drugs, based on patient age and clinical condition, under the direct supervision of an RN.
- Consult with other departments to provide an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Perform nursing assessments on all patients, under the direct supervision of an RN, and reassessments as per policy.
- Current LPN/LVN licensure in the State of Nevada.
- Current BLS certification.
- At least one year of LPN experience, with acute care experience preferred.
