ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Artisan Pizza Chef, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating exceptional pizzas with high-quality ingredients.
  • Managing multiple food orders simultaneously.
  • Leading a team and collaborating effectively.
  • Monitoring the oven and ensuring optimal cooking conditions.
  • Refreshing cheese, sauce, and topping supplies to maintain quality.
  • Organizing and labeling all ingredients for easy access.
  • Measuring and preparing ingredients and seasonings for cooking.
  • Setting up workstations and ingredients according to recipes.
  • Ensuring proper storage of all food items.
  • Completing opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace in all kitchen areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

Language Skills

  • Proficient in English.
  • Basic Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in pizza preparation.
  • Hands-on experience with pizza dough preparation and baking.
  • Strong time-management abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.

  • Commitment to thorough and meticulous work practices.

Organizational Insight

  • Understanding of internal systems and procedures to identify potential challenges and opportunities.

  • Effectively conveying ideas and information.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.

  • Availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Hourly wage ranging from $17 to $24, based on experience.
