We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our IMCU Float Pool team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care on assigned units, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on assigned units, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, prioritizing patient needs and optimizing outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, including admission, transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Monitor and document patient condition, communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Two (2) years of nursing experience in the field of specialty.
- Accredited nursing program and current Registered Nurse License in the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas.
- Additional certifications may be required for specific units or roles.
This role requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, and the ability to build and foster positive relationships. The incumbent must be able to lead others and take appropriate action when required. Required to work throughout the South Broward Hospital District in specialty units treating a diverse range of patients under changing circumstances and challenges in different settings.
