About the Role

The New Grad Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) position at Bon Secours is a dynamic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nursing professional to join our team. As a member of our medical-surgical unit, you will have the chance to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional entry-level nursing care to patients with medical and surgical diagnoses
  • Assess patient status and develop individualized care plans to enhance and improve outcomes
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with state practice and Mercy Health policies and procedures
  • Evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
Requirements
  • Diploma of Nursing or Associate of Nursing from an accredited nursing program
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or RN applicant
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain prior to direct patient care)
