Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Mountain View Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring effective day-to-day nursing operations and providing administrative support to the nursing manager and the Med Surg unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations with Clinical Team Leads as directed by the manager.
  • Assist the manager with daily workflow, staffing, orientation, training, and overall unit department development.
  • Monitor and review quality of care and documentation to ensure performance metrics are being met.
  • Provide clinical and financial data to the manager and assist with evaluations as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ACLS, PALS, and Basic Dysrhythmia certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Preferred chemotherapy certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Preferred 2 years acute care nursing experience and able to demonstrate progressive leadership experience and/or training.
