Physical Therapist Job Opportunity at Nextaff of Sacramento Healthcare

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to work with our team of healthcare professionals in Sacramento. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real impact through personalized patient care and hands-on therapy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Consult with patients to understand their physical condition and symptoms and review their medical history
  • Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition
  • Use hands-on therapy, such as massage, to ease patients' pain and promote healing
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adapt treatment plans as needed
  • Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and recovery expectations

Requirements:

  • Active license in the state of California
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Copy of Negative TB test/Chest X-ray
  • Compassion and empathy for patients
  • Attention to detail and physical stamina to lift patients and stand for long periods
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
