About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine team at BluePearl Pet Hospital. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering top-notch medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between our veterinarians and clients, providing clear and concise information regarding patient care, treatment plans, and medical results.
  • Assist with anesthesia and sedation procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients.
  • Perform digital radiography, utilizing sedation and restraint techniques as needed.
  • Administer medications and perform medical math calculations with precision and accuracy.
  • Collect and process blood samples, and place intravenous catheters with ease and confidence.
  • Assist with endoscopic procedures, including setup, patient preparation, and equipment maintenance.
  • Discharge patients from the hospital, providing thorough client education on post-operative care and medication management.
  • Participate in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including joint taps, body cavity centesis, and laparoscopic biopsies.
  • Develop and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Mentor and train colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
