Facility Cleaner

Position Title: Housekeeper | Part-Time and Per Diem

Company Overview: The Katzman Center for Living is a distinguished skilled nursing facility in Chelsea, MA, recognized for its commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our residents. As part of Chelsea Jewish Lifecare, we have been dedicated to serving the senior community for over a century.

Role Overview: We are in search of dedicated and mature individuals to join our team as Housekeepers. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean, wash, and sanitize bathrooms, resident rooms, and communal areas.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting.
• Care for carpets by vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Manage trash and recycling disposal effectively.
• Ensure assigned areas are kept clean, safe, and visually appealing.
• Utilize safety equipment and supplies as necessary.
• Keep workspaces free from hazardous items.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in understanding and speaking English.
• Demonstrated reliability, compassion, and dependability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in housekeeping is advantageous.

Work Schedule: Part-Time and Per Diem positions available.
