About the Position:
This role involves assisting in the preparation and examination of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.

Salary:
$60,000 - $85,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
1.

Support the probate and trust administration process from inception to completion, which includes drafting probate documents, managing estate checking accounts, and asset distribution.


  • Draft legal instruments such as deeds, trusts, wills, and powers of attorney.
  • Facilitate and maintain effective communication with clients, attorneys, and court officials.
  • Conduct legal research pertaining to estate planning and probate matters, ensuring compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems to guarantee that all documents are current and easily retrievable.
  • Prepare and submit court documents, while managing the estate calendar.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling appointments, managing client files, and handling correspondence.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in Estate Planning or a related discipline.

  • A Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited institution.
  • Expertise in trust administration, probate processes, drafting wills, and powers of attorney.
  • In-depth knowledge of estate planning and probate laws and procedures.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of interacting professionally with clients, attorneys, and court officials.
  • Strong research capabilities, with proficiency in legal research tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects concurrently, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
