Troy Regional Medical Center is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the role of Emergency Room Nurse within our dynamic Emergency Department. This position operates on a PRN basis, with hours and shifts varying based on departmental needs.

Role Overview:
As an Emergency Room Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care to all patients in the Emergency Room. Your duties will include:
  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and reassessments through systematic data collection and evaluation.
  • Providing education to patients and their families by implementing tailored teaching plans.
  • Documenting patient responses to nursing interventions, treatments, and procedures accurately.
  • Maintaining continuous communication regarding patient status throughout the assigned care period.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • A valid Registered Nursing License in Alabama.
  • Basic Life Support certification (to be obtained within 30 days).
  • ACLS and PALS certifications by the conclusion of the probationary period.

Experience:
A minimum of one year of nursing experience is preferred for this position.
