Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate coverage and liability in personal injury cases.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and make recommendations for further efforts.
  • Hire and retain experts as needed.
  • Provide extensive client contact and advise clients on the status of their claims.
  • Take pre-suit depositions and defend examinations under oath.
  • Analyze and summarize medical records and bills.
  • Evaluate past and future treatment recommendations.
  • Prepare complex demand packages and negotiate settlements.
  • Prepare petitions for minor's compromises and government entity claims.
  • Prepare civil complaints and demands for arbitration.

Requirements:

  • California licensed attorney in good standing.
  • 2+ years of attorney experience, with prior personal injury experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of medicine a plus.
  • Affable demeanor and excellent people skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
  • Full-time in-office position.
