Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the 5 North unit at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. In this capacity, you will be tasked with evaluating patient and family health concerns, guiding the nursing team in formulating and executing care strategies, and providing specialized nursing interventions to a defined patient demographic. Your primary focus will be on delivering care to Medical-Surgical Patients aged eighteen and older, while taking into account their functional and developmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and analyze patient/family health challenges and available resources
- Lead the planning, execution, and assessment of nursing care
- Administer technical nursing care and interventions
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the needs of the patient population
- Uphold the mission and core values of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital
- Participate in the hospital's strategic initiatives and Performance Improvement Plan
Requirements:
- Preferred minimum of one year of nursing experience
- Possession of an active Louisiana RN License
- Current BLS Certification required
