Prestige Technical Services is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team in a world-class plant setting. As a key member of our operations staff, you will play a critical role in assisting with the production of high-quality products using state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Weighing and Mixing Raw Materials: Assist scientists and engineers in following instructions for weighing and mixing large quantities of raw materials. Learn the operations of various pieces of mixing and weighing equipment to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Equipment Set-up and Operation: Assemble equipment in the correct configuration for daily operations, ensuring correct temperatures and differentials are attained. Assist in the operation of the system, ensuring a steady stream of raw materials.
- System Shut-down and Cleaning: Properly shut down the system, lock out motors, and aid in daily cleaning and sanitizing to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Scrap Removal and Containment: Remove and contain scrapped material in a proper and efficient manner to minimize waste and optimize production.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new equipment operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the success of the production team
