Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Field Service Technician to join our team. This role will involve traveling to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair machine tool equipment and controls.
  • Use machine tool manuals and technical documents to research machine issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed and submitted to the office and customer regarding the status of machine issues, repairs, and installations.
  • Promote and perform preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conduct after-sales technical support and training.

Requirements

  • Five years' experience with CNC machine repair.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other business programs as needed.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics is required.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills are vital.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, including flexible hours and frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. Mental and Physical Requirements

  • Must be highly mobile, able to access all areas of the premises.
  • Ability to concentrate and remain focused while prioritizing multiple tasks, responsibilities, and projects.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
  • Able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting of moderate to heavyweight material up to 50 lbs. with assistance from equipment or other employees.
  • Ability to frequently use hands and arms.
  • Vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to keep their composure with the public and coworkers in everyday, stressful situations.
