About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at ThermalNetics, LLC. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems to primary decision makers with owners, contractors, and consultants responsible for new construction and renovated buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell ThermalNetics' offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to building owners while reaching optimal profit levels.
  • Build partnering relationships with contractors and consultants responsible for decision making to drive the system sales of ThermalNetics offerings.
  • Seek out, target, and initiate contact with multiple contractors and consultants to develop a network of contacts.
  • Address customer's operational and environmental objectives, needs, and requirements, and recommend solutions that link customer objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage.
  • Positively and credibly influence systems design and construction with contractors and consultants, and negotiate value, address resistance when demonstrated, and close the sale.
  • Utilize applicable sales tools effectively, leverage ThermalNetics sales process to close sales quickly, and manage the high activity of the sales pipeline with a focus on bid documents, bid date, and close of sale date.
  • Lead the sales team by building and fostering team relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, solicit support from and communicate effectively with internal staff, and keep management informed of progress and account status.
  • Attend and present at trade shows, and complete the sales process by ensuring total customer satisfaction at completion of project.

Requirements

Three-five plus years selling in the HVAC industry, Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred), MBA and/or progressive field sales experience is a plus, excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels, and overnight travel limited to less than 20%.
