Job Summary:The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and care of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. This includes preparing the patient for the procedure, administering medication, and monitoring the patient's vital signs.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and care of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
- Administer medication as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor the patient's vital signs and report any changes to the physician
- Prepare the patient for the procedure by positioning them on the table and securing them with straps
- Assist the physician during the procedure by holding the patient's hand or providing emotional support
- Current ARRT certification
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
