About Our Neurology DepartmentOur Neurology department is a 36-bed med-surg neuro tele unit specializing in providing exceptional care to patients with various neurological conditions. We focus on stroke care and manage diverse conditions including myasthenia gravis, encephalopathies, dementia, brain, and spinal tumors. What sets us apart is our exclusive Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), where patients undergo 24/7 monitoring for seizure activity.
In the EMU, we conduct tests such as tilt table testing, strobe light testing, sleep deprivation, and medication adjustments to diagnose epilepsy and tailor treatment plans, making a tangible impact on our patients' lives.

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position
- Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
