Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality medical imaging examinations are performed under the direction of a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform medical imaging examinations using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
  • Prepare patients for exams, ensuring proper identification, order verification, and positioning.
  • Operate imaging equipment, maintaining quality images and ensuring patient and staff safety.
  • Utilize sterile technique when performing invasive procedures.
  • Recognize and respond to emergent patient situations.
  • Complete accurate and thorough documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
Requirements
  • ARRT registration.
  • Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers.
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform the function of an MA (as required by Medical Group).
Preferred Qualifications
  • IV certification.
Work Environment

This position is located at Memorial Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah. The scheduled weekly hours are 40 hours per week.
