  • Follow Assembly Instructions: Ability to follow and understand assembly instructions, including drawings, prints, and electrical schematics.
  • Layout and Mount Components: Must be able to layout and mount components.
  • Wire Assembled Components: Must be able to wire assembled components from simple schematics and/or wire lists.
  • Assist in Employee Development: This position will occasionally be asked to assist in employee development and continuous improvement.
  • Read and Interpret Schematics: Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to complete the job.
  • Test and Troubleshoot Equipment: Test and troubleshoot equipment and take corrective measures as needed.
  • Proven Troubleshooting Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment and make corrective measures if needed.
  • Understanding of Electrical Hardware Design: Understanding of electrical hardware design, with associated drawings and bill of materials.
Skills and Abilities
  • Maintain Working Knowledge: Maintain working knowledge of applicable electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, IEC.
  • Work Efficiently: Must have ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Wire Panel Devices: Wire panel devices according to provided electrical schematics.
  • Route and Bundle Wires: Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards.
  • Check Work for Errors: Check work to ensure error-free products.
  • Keep Red-Lines: Keep red-lines of any changes required during manufacturing and turn in to supervisor on completion of the project.
  • Maintain a Safe Workplace: Maintain a neat, efficient and safe workplace.
Computer Skills
  • Basic Computer Knowledge: Basic computer knowledge (required).
Physical Activities
  • Lifting and Carrying: While performing the functions of this job, the employee is: continually required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 lbs.; stand.
