Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hyperbaric Technician to join our team at Holy Family Medical Center. As a Hyperbaric Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients under the supervision of the Wound Care Manager and Clinical Nurse Supervisor.
  • Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in hyperbaric medicine and technology.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 40 credit hour introductory course in Hyperbaric/Problem wound Management Training Course as approved by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology (NBDHMT) within 30 days of hire.
  • Certification as a CHT will be obtained within 2 years of employment.
  • Effective communication skills and BLS (AHA) certification required.
