Surgical Technologist

Candler County Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

• Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations
• Maintain asepsis and ensure proper sterilization of instruments and equipment
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Basic knowledge of nursing and operating room procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certification

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will be exposed to various medical procedures and may be required to lift heavy equipment or supplies.
