Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nurse Residency Program for new graduates. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Job Description:

The RN Resident will participate in a 12-month Nurse Residency Program, which includes a comprehensive orientation, core nursing onboarding sessions, specialty onboarding sessions, and monthly NRP sessions. The program is designed to facilitate a successful transition into professional practice for new graduate RNs with less than 6 months of experience as a Professional Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics.
  • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care.
  • Participate in programs designed by specialty/service line and NRP sessions to support development.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, quality patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 1 year.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Epic and 3M experience.
