Job Description:

This Medical Oncologist/Hematologist position offers a unique opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience practicing Radiation Oncology with a strong track record or be an excellent recent graduate.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will join a team of three physicians at our beautiful free-standing cancer center, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth of our practice.
  • The role involves working as part of a clinical patient care team, performing tasks and procedures consistent with the training and licensure of a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist.
  • We are seeking a physician who can demonstrate practice-building experience and is willing to take on leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Tumor Board meetings and make orders for tests, images, and prescriptions as needed.
  • Administer chemotherapy by prescription.
  • Use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position, including EPIC.
  • Deal effectively with interdepartmental teams and the public.
  • Maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prioritize and address multiple responsibilities concurrently, demonstrating flexibility and excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must have a strong background in Radiation Oncology or Hematology and meet the qualifications of a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently, with adequate physical agility and reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs.
  • Able to use proper body mechanics to assist patients in ambulating, transferring in and out of bed, chair, or wheelchair.

  • A competitive salary range of $450,000 - $600,000 per year, based on experience.
