Cardiovascular Tech Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Tech to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiac Unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care and assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
  • Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
  • Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
  • Measure and record patients' intake and output and other measurements in accordance with unit routines.
  • Assist patients with range of motion and adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Competent to perform in at least two general areas of practice (cross trained and cross competent to cover more than one hospital service, role, or function).
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Preferred: Completion of approved CNA, PCT or paramedic certification or currently enrolled in nursing school.
  • Two (2) years of experience in acute or long-term care.
