Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of our licensed Occupational Therapists. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting patients with daily activities, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy treatment, instruction, and other related activities to patients as assigned by the attending Occupational Therapist
  • Maintain necessary documentation including daily patient progress notes, home/exercise instructions, and any other support entries allowed by State statute
  • Document the name of the supervising Occupational Therapist per patient as required by State statute
  • Report all patient care activities performed requiring program modification immediately to the Occupational Therapist
  • Assist with and/or carry out routine cleaning, maintenance, and support operations of the clinic's physical plant, patient care equipment, and supplies in accordance with regulatory standards and EHS policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an associate degree/two-year Occupational Therapist Assistant Program approved by the Commission for the Accreditation of Occupational Therapist Assistant Education
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in Texas
  • A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post-training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position
  • A person who can meet the physical demand level of the position
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 based on industry standards and the candidate's qualifications.
