We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Health Consultant to join our team at Jefferson Health. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical social work or psychology, with a focus on integrated behavioral health care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide behavioral health assessments, brief interventions, and clinical/consultative services to patients and their families in primary care settings.
- Collaborate with primary care providers to enhance understanding of patient needs, provide decision support for treatment planning, and assist in ongoing care and monitoring.
- Ensure behavioral health services are delivered in a culturally appropriate fashion and consistent with state laws and regulations, professional standards of care, and agency guidelines.
- Document accurately within the medical record and complete all billing requirements.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to maintain a high standard of professionalism and stay up-to-date on best practices in integrated behavioral health care.
- Masters in Social Work or PhD/PsyD in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) in PA (NJ license required for NJ locations).
- Minimum one year of experience in a behavioral health setting, with preference for three or more years of outpatient clinical behavioral health experience.
