Job Summary:
Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Retail Pharmacist to join our team in Lakeland, PRN. As a Retail Pharmacist, you will provide daily patient-focused clinical pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients of all age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medication dosing, chart review, patient education, floor rounds, and physician intervention.
- Participate on committees and give special reports.
- Rotate through the distributive pharmacy as scheduled.
- Directly perform order entry in the pharmacy.
- Provide all functions as a staff pharmacist.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide patient and community education.
- Participate in the staff development education program.
- Provide clinical training to Pharm. D. students as assigned.
- Perform accurate and timely input of interventions and ADR's.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited residency in Pharmacy Practice (Preferred).
- LIC-Clinical Pharmacist - STATE_MI State of Michigan.
- LIC-Pharmacist Controlled Substance - STATE_MI State of Michigan.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross.
Work Environment:
- Primary Location: Lakeland Hospital St Joseph Napier Ave.
- Department Name: Corewell Health Retail Pharmacy - St Joseph.
- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Shift: Variable.
- Weekly Scheduled Hours: 0.4.
- Hours of Work: 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. (Midnight).
- Days Worked: Monday to Sunday.
- Weekend Frequency: Variable weekends.
