Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process, working closely with patients to help them achieve their goals and regain independence.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Implement and deliver physical therapy interventions to promote patient recovery and improve functional abilities.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Masters or Doctorate level).
  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a PT in Iowa.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within three months of hire.
  • Four hours of stroke education prior to the end of orientation and annually.
