  • Perform regular inspections to monitor operations, ensuring adherence to resident rights, safety standards, and infection control measures.
  • Oversee the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes for C.N.A.s, ensuring thorough background checks are conducted.
  • Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and conduct performance assessments for C.N.A. personnel.
  • Engage in Medicare and Care Plan meetings, as well as contribute to the facility's Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the facility Psychiatrist regarding resident behaviors and the management of psychotropic medications.
  • Assume the responsibilities of the Director of Nursing in their absence and carry out additional assigned duties as required.
